CONSULTATION ON ADMISSION ARRANGEMENTS TO THE HEREFORD Academy FOR THE YEAR 2021/2022

The Hereford Academy is currently determining proposed admission arrangements for admissions to the Academy in September 2021 as part of our continued drive to improve standards and improve quality first education, we are consulting on a reduction in our PAN to further sustain improvements at The Hereford Academy.  As determined by the School Admissions Code, we are required to consult on these arrangements, and are inviting comments on the proposed changes.

A copy of the proposed admissions policy is available on our website at www.theherefordcademy.org.uk for your information. Alternatively if you require a hard copy of the policy please contact the Academy directly. The Academy Trust is proposing the following amendments to the Admissions arrangements:

  • Reduction in PAN from 180 to 150;

Comments should be received by no later than 9am on Friday, 6th December 2019.

Consultation on admissions arrangements is required to take place for a minimum of 6 weeks, between 1st October and 31st January, to ensure that parents and community groups have a chance to respond.

Tenbury CE Primary Academy are their own admissions authority, and they are following the timetable of Babcock Prime, who work on behalf of Worcester Local Authority. 

The local Academy Board/Academy Trust must determine admission arrangements by 28th February. Within 14 days of determination, Admissions Authorities must give notice in writing to Babcock Prime on behalf of the Local Authority, other bodies consulted with and any respondents to the consultation, of the determined arrangements.
